Adding and Configuring Enefits for Shopify

This guide covers how to add the Enefits for Shopify app and the configure so that you may begin publishing NFTs for sale in your Shopify store.

Visit the Shopify App Marketplace and search for Enefits. From the Enefits for Shopify profile page, add the app to your Shopify store.

This will navigate you to the Enefits dashboard which will prompt you to agree to the Enefits Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. After accepting this, you're now ready to configure the app and start selling NFTs in Shopify!

Webhooks are connections made between Shopify and Enefits to let Enefits know when a new order has been placed so that Enefits can deliver the NFT to the customer. They are required in order to publish NFTs to your store.

It's extremely easy to set up your webhook.

Step 1. Go to your Shopify Store Settings

Step 2. Click on Notifications

Step 3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Webhooks section

Step 4. Click on Create webhook

Step 5. From the Event dropdown, select Order payment and for the URL copy and paste the following value: https://api.enefits.co/v1/shopify/webhooks/orders-paid

Finally from the Webhook API version dropdown, select the option that has (Latest). Then, press Save.

Step 6. In the same Webhooks section, copy the string highlighted in yellow (which is your Webhook Key)

Step 7. Go to Settings under the Shopify menu in the Enefits dashboard

Step 8. Paste the Webhook Key value in the Webhook Key field and the press Save

You're done! Now when a purchase is made on your store, Enefits will be contacted and the NFT will be delivered to the e-mail used by the customer when placing the order.
